I forget the name of the episode of MLP where Fluttershy had multiple personalities looking after Rarity’s Boutique in Manehattan I liked that version of goth better

Vignette did nothing wrong.
 
Seriously, that she was correct about this despite how ridiculous it seemed even to us fans explains why she’s reputable and employed despise her…flaws. She’s just that good.
 
Or the animators reused the costume out of laziness and there nothing more to it…

This is actually a lovely bit of offscreen growth for Vignette. She’s making suggestions rather than barking out orders, and is willing to compromise rather than forcing the issue. To say nothing of the implications of Fluttershy holding her ground on the hair clip. Good for both of them.
