It dissolved? I just recently rewatched the episode and all I saw was his horn fly off with the remains of the rest of his body. I never saw it dissolve.

What’s really dark is when Fluttershy has an emotional breakdown in “Hurricane Fluttershy”, and in “Magical Mystery Cure”, things seem pretty horrible when everyone is forced to act out the wrong cutie-mark. But this, this is cute.

Sorry, I’m not sure if this image should have been tagged grimdark. Semi-grimdark perhaps, but this is IDW and they’re probably a good benchmark for what constitutes child-safe.
