Despite not knowing what they’re saying I still get the jokes just by looking at the pictures.
 
Anyways I can tell the difference between Japanese and Chinese. The styles are quite distinct.

Chinese is the official language in Taiwan. Think of it like Mexican speaking Spanish.

Let me translate. There are alternate sentences because it can be translated slightly differently.
 
  1. PP: What mask is this? / What type of mask is this? (She’s holding up THE Mask btw)  
    Zecora: Oh! You can’t touch that! Ah! Don’t touch that!
     
  2. PP: Eh? Eh? / Oh? Oh?
     
  3. Twilight: What’s going on?!  
    Zecora; It’s hard to explain…
     
  4. PP: TA-DA!  
    Twilight: …There’s no change? / …Nothing’s different about her?  
    Zecora: …That’s even harder to explain
     
 
  1. Applejack: You done? / Finished?  
    How about another? / Wanna get another? / Gonna buy another? / Do you want to buy one more cup?
     
  2. Zecora: To you this is just an empty cup…
     
  3. Zecora: But to me, it isn’t.
     
  4. Applejack: Evil/hateful/despicable/damn/annoying/irritating witch/enchantress! (Many different variation because the word here is one of unhappiness and displeasure, and suits many situations)
