Oh, German citizens rejoiced Poland returned to be a part of german Empire. I doubt Polish people liked that a lot (I am Polish so I know something about it). And I don't care what british did 2 centuries ago, it was then, We should be more enlightened nowadays, enough to support people that desire their independence especially from a government like China.
So all Your argument is Chinesse people want Hong Kong to be part of China, and I guess North korea wants South Korea to be a part of Them but thankfully South Koreans have something to say about it.
