When the only canon gay couple is less romantic with each other than 4 pairs of friends, this would mean something quite unfortunate.
It would mean the show has bad writers.
Those are our options, gay couples, or bad writers. Only one of those is appealing.

God damnit I should have written this in my first post. Oh wait, I said these are the 4th ones. Right duh! They're such a bad couple I genuinely couldn't think of them. They are so much easier to see as sisters, sadly.
