Equestria Daily already confirmed that the next and the last Equestria Girls special is connected to the book and its also the one with the Dazzlings. So basically if you read the book you aleady know what will happen.

you don’t know what will happen, you are confusing me. Perhaps you don’t know the difference between a book and a film that are based but not the same thing, as well as this the difference between Total Recall novel and film are not completely the same (There are no mutants in the novel, nor did he go to Mars, he only had his memories). This is not confirmed. I just basically have to wait if the special will be a different special or accept the fact, because it is the only thing I know.

This is just a theory and I might be wrong but I Gotta Feeling that the book is not a one-to-one adaptation of the special. a very minor reason but I can’t help but notice that Nick does not correct the inspired part of the question. the book is not as long as the other books based on the specials and movies. I might be wrong about this as well as I have not read the book but I believe the book was choose Your Own Adventure at least the ending and I don’t see them doing a 44 minutes special in that format

The heck are you talking about? If you dont know anything about how this work then stop confusing other people here. The scripts for specials are made few years in advance. While the books are written based on those scripts around the time the specials are finished. Nick said “other way around” as in the opposite, which mean that the specials weren’t inspired by the books BUT the book was inspired by the special. If you weren’t just spamming you would know that writers have access to un-aired specials which is why we had a Best Gift Ever Book before the special episode was released. So basically this new special will have the same plot as the Starswirl Do over book.

no, Spring Breakdown was released in January and written by nick and the book in February. he never mentioned the book until they asked. the books not always related to the specials. He said ‘’ other way around ‘’ it means the opposite.

Nick writes scripts for EQG and FiM 1-2 years in advance. The book was written around January and released in February. Better expect a rehash of the book just like literally almost all specials who had their story released in a book form.

Friendship imperatively when it comes to you Bronies you guys have  
a laughable memory considering if you think about it that special  
made you forget which is ironic in itself since its about Sunsets
