Backstory: Rosy Tea had always wanted to be a writer since she was a filly. She wrote numerous stories. As she got older, she eventually became a Creative Writing teacher to teach all her students all about being a good writer.
 
At the same time, she had an interest in learning about plants and botany, and always wanted a rose garden of her own. While teaching Creative Writing, she studied botany and plant sciences, and eventually earned a degree in it. Even when she was qualified to be a gardener, she still kept teaching at Creative Writing, and only worked on creating her own garden during holidays.
 
At one point in her life, she met and fell in love with a Unicorn stallion, who was a wonderful singer and dancer. However, their relationship fell apart when Rosy found out about her lover’s dark past, and they got into an argument over it. When Rosy tried to make up to him, he had no choice but to leave her and their son, Canon Harmony (whom she was pregnant with at the time), behind, causing her to feel depressed. However, with Canon being born, she found a piece of herself that she felt was missing.
 
During her temporary break from being a teacher, Rosy spent a lot of time with Canon. She discovered that her son had inherited not only her artistic talents in writing, but also his father’s talents in singing and dancing, causing her to be reminded of him. However, she didn’t give up hope and still raised Canon just like how any kind and caring mother would do.
 
As Canon was old enough to go to school, Rosy was about to go back to her teaching job when upon discovery that she was pregnant with a foal again. At the same time, she took Black Laurel into the family and adopted her as her daughter. Laurel would often get into sibling fights with Canon, even though they loved each other as siblings very much. Even when their sister Aria was born, it was still the same rivalry between Laurel and Canon, like who was the better sibling, or who took care of Aria better than the other, etc. and all it did to Aria was make her giggle (Since she was a baby). While Rosy didn’t mind those conversations, she often told them to keep it down because it could annoy the other neighbors.
 
Since Rosy often dealt with stress and anxiety, she would often try soothing methods to calm herself down. This included tea making. She had actually done this since before she was destined to become a writer, which made her earn her cutie mark thanks to the tea’s successful soothing effects. She’s had an obsession for tea since.
 
Rosy Tea appears to be a great role model to everypony alike, especially Aria, since she’s her daughter. No matter what destinies these ponies may have, she will always be an inspiration to them no matter what.
