What I know, is:

JJ is friends with the Ask Raindrops blog mod Ahmedz
JJ created this running gag where Raindrops is obsessed with a loaf of bread to the “mai waifu/husbando” levels
Drew a bunch of pics along the lines of this one showing them in a relationship, and SOMEHOW taking care of Filly Twilight
Every subsequent pic JJ has drawn with Raindrops (human or not) now has that loaf of bread it, for noooo raisin.

….yeaaaah, inside jokes.
