Description
This is one of the few artworks I made to celebrate the release of Disney’s live-action remake of Aladdin this Friday. Here’s the My Little Pony version of the Peddler, or Merchant, in the opening of the original film showing the magic lamp. Along with my own Equestria-inspired lyrics done to the tune of Arabian Nights.
(Note: I know I didn’t add the rest of the Peddlers stand for the background, but that would’ve been too much and made it all cluttered).

It begins on a dark night, where a dark man waits,with a dark purpose.
This is no ordinary lamp! It once changed the course of a young man’s life. A young man who, like this lamp, was more than what he seemed. A diamond in the rough.
Do not be fooled by it’s common place appearance! Like so many things it’s not what is outside, but what is inside that counts.
Wait, don’t go! I can see that you’re only interested in the exceptionally rare. I think then, you would be most rewarded to consider…this.
