Yeah, I gave up on eye reflections. Now I just fake it by shrink wrapping textured planes to the eyes with the shrink wrap modifier.

Uncanny Valley or bust!

I know this is going to sound weird but both versions look good depending on the position of the sun in the background. It’s as if the sun is moving a couple of degrees at a time between one picture and the other.
