I sort of get the first two because I’ve dabbled in the idea of Twilight being the one with the crush before and the third is just basic shipping but the fourth one really confuses me and seems like a stretch. That’s a really complicated idea that I don’t think you conveyed well enough in the image. You’d be safer just saying it’s “bcuz memes” and that it has no actual meaning
I mean that’s kind of how this meme goes half the time anyway, rarely does it actually have any coherent sense - the joke usually is that some guy is jumbling different ways to say the same thing but it gets progressively “deeper”.

OP here. The first one is about Spike approaching Twilight. This is a normal ship that most bronies accept because they self-insert as Spike. The second one is about Twilight approaching Spike. This kind of ship is a bit abnormal because Twilight is purple; nonetheless, bronies still ship it because they like Twilight’s motherly character. The third one is about Spike and Twilight mutually approaching each other. Now, obviously, they’re friends, so this might seem like the most normal of all ships, but you gotta remember that Spike is a dragon prince, while Twilight is a bookworm, so naturally, they’re sworn enemies; but they’re still shipped because bronies like consent. The fourth and final one is about Twilight and Spike approaching one another at the same time, so that, Twilight in Universe A ships with Spike in Universe B and vice versa. This is the most abnormal ship because it assumes that the Twilight and Spike of Universe A are already shipped, and the same goes for Twilight and Spike of Universe B. It also assumes that Equestria isn’t biased against purple and allows pony-dragon relationships, and is a multi-universal reality rather than the plain mono-universe seen in the show and movies. The toy line obviously supports the fourth ship the most, but I doubt Hasbro will ever acknowledge that. Still, bronies ship it because it’s fun to think about. Also because it allows for double shipping, cuckolding, mirror world, and other wacky situations.
