This season has done a lot of work for the normal 3/4th view towards the viewer but with the pony/character looking more up or down than horizontal, and its all in how they do the muzzle. eg: Pinkie’s “twilighting” comment from the 1st episode, a few of Rarity’s faces in this one. It helps with giving more emotional posing for the characters.
