Oh, the old “if you actually like this you’re a shill” card. how long was it ever since i last saw it?

I can’t wait to see what’s Grogar’s going to do and what his plan is!

I think everyone besides MLP “yes-men” are not sold on his appearance. He is about as “anticlimactic” as every other “one season” villian.

Except pull Tirek and Cozy Glow straight from Tartarus, bring Sombra back from the dead, and give Tirek his second form again (that he had to absorb magic from multiple unicorns in order to reach) with a small orb of magic, and all of this with Grogar being in a weakened state.

The other villains in the show didn’t have any buildup before their first appearances either, what’s your point?

Anyone else really not sold on him yet? Hopefully, he’ll win me over with his next appearances.

i wish they had done somethings in previous seasons to like let you know there is some greater villian coming in the future

Actually, I watch G1, but I had never heard of Grogar. Mostly because I haven’t seen The Return of Tambelon.

He is just an another, generic villan without much purpouse in the show. He hasn’t done anything even remotely impressive and had no build-up to appear in season 9.
 
He was just shoe-horned for the sake of fanservice. That’s all.
