This is done on 9x12 canson cardstock with Prismacolor, ink, and acrylics. He is my own creation. I mixed the styles of the G4 and G3 ponies so he looked more like a horse and less like a deer.

I may work more on Haley. I based his coat off of a real life appaloosa blanket. His cutie mark is actually the comet itself. Part of my desire with this piece was just to play with color. After a real life of abuse and my art being very dark and drab–I have noticed that I am falling for bright colors. All my art has become saturated with it.
 
So….here we go.
 
 
He is a resident of Cloudsdale, but despite his bright color purple, he is a little shy. He is an introvert in a very real sense. He’s not a fast enough flyer to join the wonderbolts–and they are very famous. He prefers to hide behind the scenes and explore the sky at night.
 
When he was a foal he wanted to fly as fast as a comet, and go to comets to see what they are made of. That dream is yet to be realized.
 
 
He is comparable to a teen now–and will be about the size of Cheese Sandwich when he is fully grown.
 
Skills: flying (average). Observation. Writing non-fiction (pertaining really only to his favorite topic of the stars). Developing optics to see the stars.
