I just find it when people draw male-only mons as females annoying, especially due to how little there is of the reversed, making it feel like there are some less than savory reasons for it.

The Machoke isn’t a gender-exclusive mon like Gallade. It’s like the Lopunny line where it looks like a gender exclusive, but isn’t (even the Machoke line has a lower chance of females, while the Lopunny line is 50/50). Now, here’s the fun question: how many female-only mons have you drawn as male?
chale hijo, not be a scuare, yes yes, you have fundament for evolution of the pokemon in base the gender but the real story in this artwork it was to annoy a zoey, yes, zoey exist.

Because only male Kirlia can evolve into Gallade? It’s like asking why there are only female Vespiquen, Salazzle or Froslass, or why the Hitmo-line are all males while the Jynx line are female.
