I figured as a whole they’d be very aloof and not really see ponies as worth caring about. Some like the Dazzlings saw them as pawns and food sources, others like this one see them as little cute things she can keep as pets, and others still just want her to get rid of them because they don’t want to have to deal with ponies in the first place :P

Context clearly indicates that they want her to stop holding them. You’d have to really be trying to misinterpret that.

It’s one of the other sirens. It’s not the first time she’s brought a pony or two home wanting to keep it, and they keep telling her to let them go because ponies make terrible pets. All they want to do is party and they sulk for a week if someone doesn’t want to be their friend XD
