Definitely not the norm. Becomes difficult to protect the livestock from Coyotes, Mountain Lions, bears, etc. Not to mention protecting yourself from the same potential threats. Generally a basic 30-30 or 308 caliber rifle is chosen as a farm gun.

She’d probably have both, tbh. Applejack is basically southern, and gun culture is huge in the south. Plus you won’t find a farm owner in existsnce out there that doesn’t own at least 1 firearm.

I don’t know. She could have an IWB holster for it and simply missed getting the clip over the belt as opposed to under the belt.

Storing a gun like that is a sure way to get yourself injured. I don’t think women’s genitalia were meant to take bullets. To be fair, neither are men’s.
