All tags display a counter after their name. If you click the “Tag changes” button, you’ll see that “mylittlepony” has (0) after it. That zero means the tag exists, but it isn’t used at all. It exists because many people don’t realize they can use spaces in tags on Derpibooru and they keep recreating the misspelled tag. The correct tag would be “my little pony” and that tag is widely regarded to be almost completely redundant because all you can find here is pony, so it shouldn’t be actually used much.
 
That’s why. Don’t use misspelled tags.
