Ahhh Fluttershy’s kids.
This isn’t a secret but it’s easy to tell which of the main six kids I ignore the most. Pinkie Pie and Shy’s kids are some of my favorites design wise but they have a lot less issues then any of the others so they’re hard to write for. Just like the how the show writers feel about AJ.
Sage Leaf was bullied but not to the degree that Twilight’s son Stellar Rays was. He’s also just a great deal more reclusive but confident then the Prince of Magic. He’s also the oldest of the main 6s kids but never was forced into the roll of babysitter like Pinkie’s daughter Strawberry Essence.
THAT BEING SAID, young Sage Leaf is quite adorable! He spent most of his youth alone in the swamps and lakes of Ponyville. He really liked the fauna from that area, particually swans. Fluttershy often found him wading around in the water grazing with swans. It was very cute because the local population of water fowl began seeing him as an honorary bird.
Even as an adult, he will often return to the lakes and swamps.
