OP, what would you think if you take that image I have linked above, then edited/traced it in some way for your own purpose of your personal work but didn’t credit the original artist at all? Would them get angry at you for stealing their work? What would you also say that you’ve found a base version of that and used it, but then, you found someone is commenting that they’ve claimed that you’re actually traced the original image instead without crediting, not using a base? It’s called confusions, right?
 
Well, if you don’t want those things to happen and don’t want to get too much trouble in your plate, then the very least you have to do is to source the images OR add the Base Used tag if it’s actually comes from a base that comes from that original image. It’s even in the site rules.
