Description
This comic is how the Epilogue explains away Season 2 of “Better Together”: it takes place in a parallel universe, and it’s the same universe where the “Meet the Princesses” comic takes place in.
This is done mostly because I want to mantain the “soft reboot” that unlinks the Epilogue to Atop the Fourth Wall, something that I feel I can’t do if I integrate Season 2 of “Better Together” in the Epilogue.
Also: the reason the Event Synthetizer (the machine Sci-Twi built to bring people to other universes into the Ponyverse, and the one that allows residents of the Ponyverse to travel to other universes) only works for an hour is tied into something established in “Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse”: people from one universe can’t stay for a prolongued time in another universe, or else their molecules will explode and they will die. This effect varies from person to person and from universe to universe, so Sci-Twi decided to play it safe by having the effects of the Event Synthetizer only last an hour, since everybody can survive at least an hour in a parallel universe.

Honestly, i wasn’t paying attention that this was it’s own continuity. i think i was searching for something else (i think it was spider-man: Into the spider-verse, and it showed up). so i shall retract my former stating and just say, It’s amazing what you can find when you’re searching for something else.

These Stones don’t play by comic rules, or even MCU rules. They play by Atop the Fourth Wall rules.
“How did Apple-Kara destroy the Stones?” has yet to have a definitive answer, since the Contest of Champions storyline is moving at the speed of molasses, so we won’t get an answer until at least September (assuming we get an answer at all. It wouldn’t surprise me if the storyline ends with Linkara claiming the Infinity Gauntlet and then not giving it a second thought).
(BTW, and i hate to be that guy, but you can’t use the stones to destroy themselves, in the comics, the Illuminati (Stark, Xavier, Richards and Strange) tried that and failed, which is why they spilt them up among themselves)
It’s a Linkara reference.
The point that is meant to come across is that, since Season-2-of-Better-Together Humane Seven are Channel Awesome,
Season-2-of-Better-Together Applejack is Linkara.
