Description
Just a dumb idea I’ve been having for a while now made into something. Everytime someone comes into an images thread and tells everyone to take it to the forums, I can’t help but to imagine it being the equivalent of calling in a referee to sort things out.

Yeah, I can picture her in that size.
@mjangelvortex
I don’t know ow of she has the same body type, but this mare comes to mind.
I’m up for her having a body type similar to Mrs. Cake.
Chub poners can be pretty dang cute. She was originally just gonna have the standard body type, but I think I mint change it to something like Mrs. Cake or something.
I’m a bit chubby irl not super big though but I actually love bigger girls if the fact I love all these fat RD and Fluttershy art isn’t any indication. Plus I like the ponies (mane six especially) chubby body design because it’s cute.
Hmm… I must kindly disagree, seem that the pic is about “taking things to the forum” they are very on topic.
@Binkyt11
Did I catch y’all going off topic >:v

While I know accountless users aren’t allowed to make forums to my knowledge, they can still post on them. There’s nothing wrong with pointing out problems with the site as long as you’re being reasonable (calling mods names, making threats to other users, and just being an asshole won’t really help). I’ve seen it happen where people without accounts raise good points about the site, but the difference with them being banned or not is how they handle it. Be reasonable, talk about it in an appropriate place, and know when to fimally stop and you should be fine; however of you’re constantly being a jerk, bring it up on an inappropriate place (like for example, most images on the site), or keep bringing it back up in that place despite that fact you’ve been told to stop- you’ll probably be banned. Trust me, there’s a lot aspects of Derpobooru I don’t agree with. Some people (including staff), how some rules are sometimes more or less enforced than others, and hell even some things on this site that I absolutely have given me a lot of grief sometimes. I understand how hard it can be on here, but as long as you keep your head cool and know when to call it quits or to go somewhere else to talk about something you should be fine.
Now, while I know this image is pretty topical and such— I didn’t create it for the reason to make a point or some shit like that. While past and recent events did inspire me to do it, this image was made for fun. There wasn’t and forum pony yet and like I said down on the description— the idea of being told of going to the forums on a description is like this site’s equivalent of having a ref break up a fight, was something I had floating around in my mind for a long time now. Since I don’t want this thread to be possibly be derailed and such, pre haps and talk about how the site is run should be taken to the forums. Thank you.
I will forever be disappointed that the show mares didn’t take off. I was so sure of it (seriously).

Oh yes absolutely, the smaller ones are adorable and resemble the show. These two models are like day and nightmare.
I agree with you about the taller EQG dolls.
But I honestly think the smaller EQG dolls are really cute.
It definitely is because of the toyline. Having varied body types means using different molds for the toys and that’s not really cost effective in the long run. Having the toys come in the same mold saves time and money in making them. Also bigger bodies means more plastic (or whatever material used to make them).
From what I recall, the series being animated in Flash might be another reason why so many Ponies have similar body types. Given time and money restraints along with some of Flash’s limitations, those could probably be other reasons too.
@Crimson “Valent” Azure
I think some of the body types for the ponies got some variety as the show progressed (there’s even a select few characters from season 1 that have different body types).
There’s more but I unfortunately forgotten the names of a lot of them. But the Naming Background Pony thread has quite a bit of them (some of them are even on the first page).
Hasbro don’t do that because fat dolls don’t sell, making any of the humane seven fat would be shooting your own hoof. (Remember when Barbie made a fat version that came with stickers to make her uglier? And they wonder how monster high managed to snatch the market.)
Also having one body type for all the girls means they only need to customize the hair and clothes for each doll, same for the character rig during animation.
With that said, I think the Equestria Girls dolls are abhorrent and creepy.
Heyo. Though I am curious, what was the thing you wished was a thing?
Because toys I guess.
I do like the idea of fatter ponies but I have no idea why Equestria Girls goes and makes everyone skinny, almost like they’re aware America and similar countries have a population of mostly obese people while the main show seems to have more realistic proportions.
Well in this image, she’s just a bit of a chonk by mistake of that answers anythong.
(And why everyone in EQG needs a sandwich because they look like anorexics).
Not body shaming anyone but the fact there aren’t any bigger people in EQG aside from Granny Smith makes me not like it as much.
