I’ve been on an Atop the Fourth Wall binge for the past few weeks, so I decided to make a pony meme using one of Linkara’s reoccurring jokes.
BTW, does anyone here still consider Rainbow to be a hero, even after what she did in TFTM? (Come to think of it, I don’t think we’ve seen her do anything heroic in the episodes that followed it.)

deathinedibilityI’m not saying what she did in TFTM wasn’t selfish, wrong and probably cost a LOT of taxpayer bits to fix. There were probably serious repercussions, even if the episode doesn’t detail them. That said, even though she was in the wrong here, you’ll notice that in her next episode, she puts herself in danger trying to help Griffonstone, and after that, defends Ponyville against the Bugbear with the rest of the Six.
I could go on and on, but the point is: Rainbow is still a hero. As with her five friends, this is objective fact. There’s an ugly blemish on her record, but asking ‘has she done anything heroic lately’ is like asking if Twilight has done anything heroic since using a (probably illegal) mind-control spell that ultimately turned Ponyville into a giant cluster of violence because she couldn’t ask Celestia for an extension on her report.
TL;DR: Rainbow is still a hero, but even she can’t dodge the stupid stick 100% of the time.
