well, not saying it will happen in the show obviously but this is really the only one I could imagine with Celestia and plus good Sombras personality reflects with hers in a good way and since she need someone who knows her struggles and share her similar interests and being he is a king, this would be pretty perfect and more reasonable.

Yes, I know this story she’s nice but hard to tell if it’s Cannon or not and if it’s not, can they see each other again? I’m not so sure.  
The story of sinking and radiating hope my much more pleasant and we’re gonna be staring at whether it’s gonna happen.

I’d say the closest ship I have ever seen towards Celestia is this >>1949417p (deleted) i mean idk if the comics apply to the show according to hasbro and I doubt it not claiming it as actual canon to the show obviously but I think Lauren Faust MIGHT have hinted at it on twitter once but again I’m not say it’s actually gonna happen or anything obviously. but it was the “mirror world” sombra, the good one so it wouldn’t even be her worlds sombra. but this is pretty much the only Celestia ship I ever saw since they had a deep romance in the idw comics

I have a parallel question, is there a couple for celectia from your point of view.  
’cause I’m trying to make a picture of the different couple in the show.  
For the moment I have made this draft with a ranking relationship present in the series or fan fiction.

fair enough, he can be a bit unreliable but he also proves himself to actually be a sweet loving creature as well because he uses this facade to not get hurt by others like on Discordant Harmony where he had to pretend to be normal at his house just to keep her with him and she spoke to him about how his differences reflect to her in a good way and she wouldn’t leave him because he’s differnet from her but they also have simularities which is why they make such a good combo and as Discord said in return of harmony “all the truth does is make your heart ache and sometimes a lie is easier to take” which is the reason why he put up this facade that “love isn’t real” because he wouldn’t want to be hurt by anyone and obviously he meant friendship as well and that is common behavior that he shows whenever someone is trying to hide something and just hold back their real emotions all together like we saw through his behavior with fluttershy just to keep her around and when he got jealous of her not being his plus 1 at the gala and he tried to act “cool” infront of her and “not effected” by it just to get her attention. and this has seasons and seasons of build up and chemistry which is why so many fluttercord shippers feel the way they do

I understand your ideas, but the problem is that the Discod feeling is unreliable.  
he is in turn beginner or master of friendship depending on the episodes.  
I hang in season with the keys or he had to score all the clues to find them.

Like yes agreed, but that’s the thing and the point I want to make about Discord. You know how you say “with discord its chaos no matter what” but with fluttershy that isnt the case, she let’s him freely Express himself all the time around her but she also reigns him in when he needs it. Discord loves chaos so much but the ONLY mare he had ever risked it for or come to compromise with it was her because he didnt want to lose her specifically. Did he ever once do that with celestia? No, never happened. He doesnt care about losing celestia in any shape or form and the show has never once expanded upon that discord celestia friendship, they are barely even friends on the show, dont you think even if they did get together discord and celestias romance would be kinda crappy because they barely interact and every time they did it was to either “fight” or just put up with eachother for the sake of the plotline of the show discord being reformed by FLUTTERSHY and all. If celestia loved discord as these loony dislestia shippers say thenn… wouldnt she reform him herself? No because she knows he wouldnt listen to her and doesnt care about her opinion and she isnt LIKE him so she wasnt the one able to stop him and fluttershy was able to get through to him and she didnt which only tells us 2 things, if celestia loved him back in the day wouldnt it be hard for her instead of just her being totally okay? And we know she couldn’t compromise with discord in any way and she cant compliment him as his polar opposite, so that would only make for a totally broken romance there. The only reason I ship fluttercord in the first place is because it actually makes sense and has background and they actually interact and have good times together and even non shippers saw their “romantic vibes” in the show. There is always alot more teasing around it with fans on reaction video in those episode then there has ever been with discord and celestia on one episode for 2 seconds, that doesnt give any time or room to call “romance” on something.

I thank you for taking the time to elaborate on your remarks, but I must admit that I already knew these points.  
I’d say the biggest weakness of these couple is Discord it’s chaos no matter what.  
I have tried here to portray the perception of discord of these different relationships.  
from your point of view, what would you change?

I actually have plenty of reasons why they are delusional and I could care to explain them all to you if you want. #1. Discord barely cares about her on the show proven by season 6 #2. They are nothing alike opposites attracts theme only works if they COMPLIMENT eachother and they don’t #3. Huge maturity gap #4.they BARELY interact on the show at all #5. He already puts fluttershy above her and everyone else as already shown multiples times on the show and even said so no chance of a dislestia romance happening just because of some 2 second apology scene already confirmed by the writer of the episode a just a well meant from the heart apology #6. There relationship would end fast even if he DID decide to date her and even though we saw no signs of her liking him and vice versa besides some apology scene that happened 100 seasons ago. #7. What makes you think discord would be next to her all the time in “royalty and harmony” does that sound like him at all? No #8. Fluttershy had an ENTIRE episode about her loving his chaos and celestia has some 2 second “can u imagine how dull itd be if I hadn’t invited discord” moment solely for comedy purposes for the audience which she already liked the last disastrous gala and discord wasnt even there. There are tons of reasons why dislestia shippers ignore the show and see it through their own biased mirror. Atleast fluttercord actually makes sense and actually HAS ground to it and a backup unlike the totally made up fandom over looked dislestia ship

Hypothetical couple

I know that development is at this near as the sparity couple.  
However my problem with the show is the lack of stallion,I would have liked to discover new head and a new couple like what was done with quibbledash I would have liked.  
I can’t make it happen that there’s only one season left.

You really Wonder which ship the show will support? There was always only DiscordxFluttershy being developed in S3-S8 so thinking that Dislestia has any chance in S9 its like wondering if Big Mac would rather get married with Sugar Belle or Cheerilee. Its pretty obvious what the story in canon is showing and if somehow Discord would not end up with Fluttershy, any of Mane6 has more chance in romancing Discord since Celestia has zero interactions with him and literally zero dialogs. Discord is closer to Twilight, Rainbow Dash and Starlight than to any of the Alicorns.

Fluttershy would make a better girlfriend given their development and understanding and they are both grown adults and shes the only one that actually understands him. they had an entire episode about her loving his chaos soooo

celestia would make the perfect girlfrend she likes chaos shes about the same age

I have to admit, the term girlfriend should have been between Fluttershy and Celestia.  
But I hope that season 9 will develop one of these relationships.
 
On the one hand I think it will allow to pass a course in the Discod Fluttershy relationship by admitting their mutual feeling.
 
On the other hand the relationship Celestia and Discord offers more development Fluttershy would help Discord to accept that he could love someone.It would push Discord to do more for his friend. Because he knows her and could help her find someone to match her.
 
This is the problem there is one season left and so much development may seem likely but well I hope so.

I’m pretty sure that Girlfriend would apply to Fluttershy than Celestia But you care more about your headcanons than about watching the actual show, so it doesn’t matter.
