MLP:FIM is not dedicated to Twilight and Spike — and with each season ore and more characters take share of their screen time — yet those screenshots illustrate how their “arc” is always present throughout the seasons. Even when the two of them appear together in just one short scene, a blink-and-you-miss-it moment is almost guaranteed.
 
Here I collected scenes in which Twilight offered Spike comfort or advise, somehow expressed her praise, protected him from harm, showed him tenderness or even rightfully chided him. Other screenshots show them spending time together as friends or colleagues, moments when Twilight receives Spike’s crucial support — and many in between, all that make their relationship so wholesome and deep.
 
I can imagine complaints about things omitted. Yes, Twilight used to be rude, inconsiderable, forgetful, even insensitive at times, but she was never ever EVER deliberately uncaring and it was always just one side of the coin.
 
Since the comics is set vaguely before Molt Down, this barrage of screenshots misses one of the series’ best scenes, most notably from Father Knows Beast, aforementioned Molt Down and more. I’ll post them in a seperate file.
