Someone else noticed not only the fact there are no pictures of AJ’s parents, but they don’t appear in any of the anniversary barn photos either. They came to the conclusion the parents were actually heinous criminals, and the Apples actively erased all trace of them out of shame.
There’s a difference between being strong and not being an emo, and not including a single photograph of your parents in your bigass family photo album. I understand that death = a big nono in this show(Sombra notwithstanding), but it’s still jarring to me.
Faust had a plan for AJ’s parents, but not anypony else’s. She basically said that if it wouldn’t fit organically into a story, she never would bring it up.
