Yeah, I think I’d like Spruce with AJ more than Sci-Twi. Of course, by the same token I think Flash would go better with Dashie, as they both seem the sporty jock type. Twily seems like she’d go for a nerdy guy like Sunburst who shares her passion of books and studying. Not saying the girls have to date guys from their own social circles, but it feels more natural for them to do so thanks to innate chemistry.

Coming from someone who absolutely hates Timber, he and Applejack actually worked well together. He has much more chemistry with her than Sci-Twi, and Applejack is probably the hardest member of the Mane 6 to ship with someone so her and Timber working together so well is actually pretty interesting.
