Maybe more of an adolescent. Not to split hairs, but I don’t think Faust and Hasbro liked the idea of Twilight keeping a child for manual labor. It fits well with the theme of a lot of his episodes I think. He’s always going through identity issues, learning what it means to grow up and taking on new responsibilities.

According to Faust, Spike and the Mane Six are still basically teenagers but have adult independence. This explains why they don’t go to school like the CMC.

what could also be reducing his age is he hasn’t been exposed to many dragons those Dragons Were significantly different because of spikes lack of dragon diet that could also a stunt his growth and those teenage dragons could have been way way way way older spy could still be at Rarity’s age which is considered a toddler or a child by driving but could be considered just as old as his friends by Pony age

No. Spike is still a child; we’ve literally seen what are referred to as Teenage Dragons, so he’s not even at their level of maturity yet, let alone that of an adult.

not exactly different species tends to age differently than one spikes pieces of dragon cat age like a dog does so we could be much older and Spike is a dog in the eqg world so that could imply that Spike species of Dragon Age is like dogs do they just live longer

Again, we know roughly how much younger Spike is than Rarity. This isn’t a case of different species making a difference.
 
Regardless, if you were going by dragon aging, that goes against your point; he’ll be a child for much LONGER than a pony would.

Again Dragons Age differently it could just take a long time for Spike to show any signs of aging and the reason everybody treats him like a child is because he looks like one but he’s actually a lot older than he looks

To be fair, some of the Sparity art goes too far. The best Sparity fic I’ve ever seen is “Like Fine Wine” now that was a really good animated fanfic, and actually rather sweet.
