Child dragons can do this to adult dragons (either by blasting them or challenging them to a duel), but the same cannot be said in the reverse (especially when it comes to tricking or coercing them into servitude)

I mean, they COULD do it to other ponies or dragons!! They just DON’T DO IT to OTHER orphaned dragons!
 
If they wanted to crash into another giant lizard’s den, they have to fight for it!
