>If it helps, you do a better job of making God sound like less of a dick than many Christians do
>Some rando on an internet cartoon horse porno forum delved into the deepest depths of random shit to say that I might have done something remotely right
You know what, that does help. Thank you faget.
If it helps, you do a better job of making God sound like less of a dick than many Christians do.
Run while you still can.
>actually take the time to formulate a proper response that tries to answer as many questions as possible
>no one responds
That’s the point I’m trying to make. People are free to believe what they want, and I have nothing against that. What I want to point out is that I have just as much right to post the topics I know wouldn’t be posted from the bible. I should be able to do that as well, but Oddball has issue with that happening and decided to make petty, small insults.

People are free to believe what they want, I personally am atheist but there is no need to argue over religion.
@Furtive Tactics
Because this image is allowed here. If you don’t like it, please filter

.You poison your own well, I’m afraid. If you want atheists to be seen as anything other than crybabies who kick, scream, and moan about being oppressed whenever they drive down the highway and see a billboard advertising a church function, perhaps you should take steps to denounce the people who have come to represent you.
Or just keep making a big deal about otherwise benign bible quotes superimposed over pony pictures. Either or.
You’re wrong again. An atheist is someone who doesn’t believe in any god. You’re equating us to crybabies or whinebags, and that’s poisoning the well for manipulative purposes. I’d ask that you please stop doing that, but I’m skeptical if you’d actually follow through. It’s extremely dishonest to use such a manipulative tactic, and it’s not something every atheist is going to do to you. In fact, I’d wager that most wouldn’t.
Here’s a question; why does it have to be here? Obviously someone felt the need for it to be here, otherwise they wouldn’t make it and post it. Why does religion, of any form, need to be on a site for a cartoon show?
Disagreement !=Drama
@Furtive Tactics
It’s someone who throws a fit whenever they see something vaguely religious. I’m well aware. The sort of person who feels charged to go on a crusade against a benign bible quote superimposed on an MLP image.
Yeah, no. I’d just make an image similar to this that highlights what made me an atheist and anti-theist, which was actually reading the bible. I’m not going to do any of that shit that’s irrelevant to the actual underlying point that I life theism to be harmful regardless of how declawed it is. I think you have a skewed idea of what an atheist is.
Because text superimposed on an MLP image triggers you to embark upon a crusade against something that doesn’t matter. I find that extremely laughable.
Oh, are you going to edit the ponies to have fedoras and katanas while you’re at it? Maybe with an edgy little quip, such as “While you studied the bible, I studied the blade.”
Although my cumulative knowledge of the christian bible is piss minimal, and I am not huge on any given church, what I do know is that even the most outrageous bullshit within it exists within a given context. Although said context doesn’t necessarily excuse the content of said bullshit, it does help to provide an explanation as to why something is the way its written.
I do however remember some parts of the old testament similar to “slaughtering children and other individuals just because the Christian God doesn’t enjoy those people” and the like. I’m probably the worst person to explain it but from what I remember those people weren’t exactly the best human beings on the block. Although the christian bible is always advertised as love peace and everything in-between, the unfortunate truth the world isn’t exactly going to be that way so long as humans are humans. Which means that even though God says that life is sacred, sometimes blood must be spilled to protect the lives of others. Like I said, the details are hazy to me, but if those people and their families were allowed to live there would only be more conflict to result from them being spared. And yes, even the children of these people had to go, because if they hadn’t they would’ve grown up holding the same values of their parents and sworn to avenge them. Thus the cycle would repeat.
But that’s just me dumping the crap from my brain bowels at nearly 1am on an internet pony porn forum. There probably exist better explanations of my word salad, but that’s up to you to find them if you’re really interested. And just because you choose not to adhere to a faith or doctrine does not make you a bad person. I don’t believe ignorance to atheists makes any theist any better than they would be from listening to them. As a matter of fact, I find that same ignorance to be the most dangerous aspect of modern faith that even most of today’s theists and churches fail to address properly.
tl;dr “Shit happens, deal with it.” -God
I don’t see how any of what I said equates to me being upset about something. If anything, I’d say it’s hilarious because I couldn’t imagine anyone with an ounce of skepticism to believe something so silly. But, I’d say it’s good discourse if we’re going to show anything related to religion, that we show ALL of it.
Before you can ask the question, yes, I am an anti-theist. I find theism to be one of the worst things in society due to it’s manipulation of the public based on emotion and listening and believing. However, this doesn’t mean I’m going to treat theists different than any other individual. If they can post their bible quotes, I’ll post bible quotes as well, but mine are going to be on the things I’ve never heard any preacher touch on. The things they leave out of the children’s bible.
I have just as much right to voice my opinions as theists, and thus I am not in any way upset that something like this is here.
Text over a my little pony image is the most benign thing possible. Why does it trigger you so?
Except for, you know, any form of exams and the like.
