What if diamond tiara had a boyfriend?

Granny Smith (all the way back in Season 1 or 2 I don’t remember) said something along the lines of how pretty DT is for a filly. And, as a character she was made to BE the rich pretty girl.  
Sunset Shimmer was a popular, queen bitch in the first EqG special. She was a looker and everyone in school also knew that. In her first appearance she was basically Diamond Tiara with a lot more thirst for power and fame. Also she plays in a band and has been in movies or–point is, Sunset and her gang are pretty much on the Top Tier in terms of looks, especially now since they’re pretty much the superheroes in their universe.  

And that’s exactly what I’m saying, and I think Starlight’s in that 80%. Even SugarBelle is probably prettier than Starlight, considering she got TWO guys going after her.
 
I’m just saying that it’s sort of weird for a character in-universe to call Starlight pretty. It just seems to me out-of-character if somepony other than probably Sunburst, Trixie or Starlight’s Dad to call Starlight pretty, considering no one else has done that.
 
I personally think Starlight’s pretty, but I’m not a character in the story now am I?

Guys, guys… Let’s chill out a moment now. Remember this is Diamond Tiara we are talking about. Whenever Miss Glimmer here, is pretty or not, is irrelevant, Diamond Tiara is just jealous of her closeness to the Princess of Friendship.

I……fail to see the sense in that. Just because no one has complemented or acknowledged Starlight’s appearance, don’t mean that she’s NOT pretty. That make literally no sense. Because if that’s the case than literally 80% of the population isn’t pretty.
 
Also when has DT or Sunset been admitted to be attractive by someone in universe? I don’t remember that

For real. We NEVER had anypony in-universe compliment her looks at all, while we’ve seen ponies admit that DT, Rarity, Fluttershy, Applejack, Twilight and Sunset to be outwardly attractive.
 
Starlight is ironically enough, sort of insignificant for the majority of Equestrian citizens. She’s not beautiful, not rich, not popular and doesn’t have much political power. The only thing ponies know about Starlight is that she’s friends with the most influential ponies in Equestria.
 
Wallflower Blush probably wouldn’t feel jealous towards Starlight because Starlight is… outwardly ordinary. Very much so.
