I highly doubt that would happen; the writers have a TV-Y rating to preserve, after all.
If it does happen… Now, that would make for a really interesting Diamond Tiara episode. Twilight blaming herself for her death, insisting that it wouldn’t have happened if only she had checked on Tartarus more often; Spoiled Rich talking to her deceased daughter’s friends and realizing that she didn’t know DT nearly as well as she thought she did and now never will; the CMCs helping Silver Spoon deal with the loss of her closest friend; Starlight Glimmer arguing with Sunburst about whether or not she should use her old spell from season 5 to go back in time and save the filly’s life, exploring the philosophical and moral dilemmas that would entail…
