And I think the Starlight situation was also a whole hodgepodge of different emotions for her. She seemed to have more of an emotional connection to Starlight than to the school students (which makes sense, Starlight is only one mare and they lived together), Discord was in her head making her doubt herself, Starlight had just saved her directly from being trapped forever (while the Student 6 did save the day, their contribution wasn't quite as intimate)
