How fitting if his affection for her in the fantasy setting would lead to him trying to coax Discord into letting her be real and it’s done on nightmare night so she fits in with the crowds and it seems like she isn’t going to fit in at all and that she’ll be sent back to the game world, but she’s instead kept around because Spike… really wants company who can spend their time assisting with his work in the castle.
