Diamond Tiara certainly never was deranged enough to help arrange a field trip knowing that magic was failing, possibly in the hopes of getting someone killed, like say, Starlight being dead weight after her spell fails.
They do both have leadership talents of sorts, and Cozy’s eyes and cutie mark are red to Diamond’s blue.

Diamond Tiara was also never a criminal. In fact, she tended to use the rules (and her parent’s influence) to get her own way. Definitely more of a jerkass than a criminal super-mastermind. xD
DT was a bit of an ass… But she wasn’t insane.
I kinda wonder if this is how Diamond Tiara could have turned out if the CMC had not shown her a better way
