I wanted to do a shipping pic with a couple of the students but I only had 2 models(thanks a lot modelmakers) I would have had gallus in the pic but the aforementioned modelers community dropped the ball by NOT porting my favorite character to the program I actually know how to use… the now vented anger aside this actually turned out rather sweet especially when I came up with a story for it.
ocellus and sandbar find themselves lost in another dimension with no obvious ways of getting back, after a few weeks they find blueprints for some kind of machine that can transport matter between dimensions but there is a catch this is a RECIEVER node for a network… things can only come through the portal not go through it, if they want to see their friends again they would have to strand them in a new world… they decide to construct the machine over the course of a year and over that year they form a relationship with each other growing more attached to each other to where they officially call it love. sandbar knows that things would get interesting once he is reunited with his boyfriend Gallus… that is if Silverstream doesnt fall in love with Gallus which would make things even more weird. finally the machine is complete, its power up sequence complete, the rings start moving. Sandbar and Ocellus look at each other with happiness for their success and for the year they have been together. the rings spin faster as the energy levels in the core rise steadily, they notice a dim light in the core… as the rings approach their final speed the light becomes brighter before flaring up into a blinding light and a swirling maelstrom of energy radiating with incredible power. the core creates a great wind as a portal opens and they feel a slight pull towards the machine as a gravitational anomaly is created at the heart of the machine the ground shakes with the intense gravity waves… they know that this has a chance of being their last living moments so they make it extra special… Ocellus leans in to Sandbar and plants a gentle yet passionate kiss on his lips, Sandbar does the same, the two lovers sharing the comfort of each others presence as the machine reaches full power and rips a hole in space through which matter can come from other dimensions to the one they currently reside in

Just uploaded a video of the machine… It is admittedly a shitty vid on account of my mp4 to webm conversion software is a free trial… Im just gonna leave gmod vids alone for a while…
I could get behind that and I normally do not do polyships. But the three of them together sounds adorable since I equally love Sandbar x Ocellus and Sandbar x Gallus.
Well i wouldnt really call it infidelity as the next pic i did(cinema romance) makes it clear that gallus and sandbar are in love but ocellus also loves the two of them… Hell when sandbar proposes in a future pic it will be towards gallus AND ocellus… A 3 way mutual marriage or “polyfidelity” but if i ever find out how to make webm files i will make an animation of the machine… The core is BEAUTIFUL in motion as it swirls and pulses with energy
I would say that it’s Sandbar is cheating on Gallus with Ocellus. Also I really love the design of the machine you did a pretty good job on it. Wish I could see it moving.
Also what do you think of the machine in the background? It was directly based on the machine from contact so it is 4 layers of rotating rings each pivots in an axis 90 degrees rotatedvon a 2d plane which becomes 3d and a semi chaotic rotation when in motion… Its easier to understand if you saw it moving…
