Description
Steve Robert Irwin, also known as The Crocodile Hunter was an Australian conservationist and television personality.
He and his wife Terri hosted at least two television shows called Croc Files and the Crocodile Hunter Diaries.
Steve also commonly performed live shows at Australia Zoo, even once walking into the crocodile enclosure with his then infant son, Robert.
Whilst filming a documentary in Batt Reef, of the coast of Queensland, Australia in 2006 for his daughter, Bindi, he was stabbed multiple times by a stingray in the heart. He bled to death before he could be taken to shore.
His wife and two children continue his legacy to this day.
