Anyway. Yes LD screwed over her teammates, but it wasn’t out of malice or cunning, just because of arrogance and apathy.
 
SS on the other hands knows exactly what he’s doing and wouldn’t care about the outcome if it didn’t involve him directly.

Starscream would screw over his troops for an advantage. Lightning Dust screwed over her teammates because she was bored.

One guy who is in his way of total conquest. He’s a good flier and commander don’t get me wrong, but if he could sell out his own troops to save his own skin and/or he gain something to one-up everyone else he would. The only reason he’s with the Decepticons now is because he’s worth more to them as an ally than an enemy on the run.
 
LD is a self-centered, uncaring bitch, sure, but she’s nowhere near as uncaring as SS is, or at least can’t hide it as well.

To be fair, she wasn’t kicked out for poor flying skills. She was kicked out for essentially being Maverick from Top Gun.

Across all continuities, the one thing Starscream is always consistently good at is flying, dogfighting in particular. There’s a reason why he’s always the air commander.
 
Don’t pick on the cripple, on a good day he’s the best at what he does.

Starscream didn’t wipe out his own troops or accidentally attack bystanders. He only went after one guy on his side, and otherwise worked to benefit his team. Lightning Dust screwed over all of her teammates, and nearly killed a bunch of bystanders through her neglect.

Picking on a guy that hasn’t been able to fly for most of a season is a low blow… And makes it hard to compare.
 
Besides, he’s still a better team player. That’s right, a freaking Decepticon participated in less team killing than you did. You only had one episode!
