Lunar Supporter - Helped forge New Lunar Republic's freedom in the face of the Solar Empire's oppressive tyrannical regime (April Fools 2023).

There was milk in bags in Europe not long ago too. But now they are completely replaced by plastic bottles and cartons.
P3FOYFN

You know what the truly bizarre thing is? The same amount of milk in a carton costs almost twice as much. 4L of milk in a bag might cost $5, but 2L of milk in a carton is $4.

Hey! Canada is not a backwards place. I grew up with these milk bags and I turned out just fine. A perfectly normal young adult. Nothing’s wrong with me!

In my opinion, any liquid can be made to look absolutely disgusting by putting it in a plastic bag. It just doesn’t look right AT ALL.

It did not stop them from throwing them.
If they had plastic bags they would be more likely to throw them.
also we put them on the ground and stamped the cap off and watch it fly.

How strange. I’ve only ever seen milk in glass bottles, half-pint cartons, and plastic jugs.

@boz
They’re made out of cardboard and have a built-in spout.
Goldenpwny

Seems like these things were fairly prevalent.

You guys must have been saints as kids. I would have been so tempted to lob those milk bags across the cafeteria any chance I got.

Plastic bottle are nice too, but I rarely seen that in the grocery for something else than chocolate milk.

I went to a school when I lived in El Paso Texas that had milk in bags … it was wierd … I mean i got used to it after a while but at first I kept punching my straw strait through to the other side

@Boz:

Plastic can’t be any healthier than cardboard.
Ideally you’d want milk from a glass bottle but those days are pretty much long gone.
