There is not a toy...an activity... A luxury...not even a damned soul in equestria can do to comfort or ease the loss this little guy is going through. There is literally nothing to stop the pain. So much has happened so suddenly. He has been put with probably the most "Well off" family in equestria that most foals would kill for.
But it means little to nothing for him doesn't it?
He has lost EVERYTHING. One pony. But she was everything to him. Fine. Give him a new world. But to him... His only world has collapsed. Not a thing in equestria can soothe that kind of pain.
It's so sad. It makes me sad. "I want to go home. I want mommy" and his broken expression. God I wish I could give him what he wants. But no mortal can do that. Not even luna or twilight.
This smol bat pone needs someone to sit next to him with a hoof on his shoulder and remind him that his world has not ended. He needs gentle reassurance. Very gently.
