Good King Sombra (and his evil form) has a blue cape and a stripe in his hair. Sombra (and his reformed state) has a red cape and one-tone hair.
So yeah even without considering the plot, it’s supposed to be Reformed Sombra.
Never forget.
When the updates are available on the store, the quests don’t start right away. You have to wait another day or so. But in the meantime, you can see the new loading screen and icon.
The latter no longer matters though since the last ten times or so, it has been a variation of Twilight with only one Rarity (the rest of the Mane Six used to get a turn along with other ponies).
