Yeah you are probably right, but seeing them close, holding hands, sharing a beach umbrella, looking at each other eyes, it just makes my shipping senses tingle. I’m a sucker for very overlooked ships.

Really? Hmm… Doesn’t really prove, or deny, anything. There was a gay guy at my high school that held hands with girls…
 
And this guy actually stated he was gay.

Not so much Bulk in general, but rather his EqG counterpart.
 
Probably because it would be more interesting than the other characters who are believed to be gay. (He’s a buff dude that plays sports, instead of being a very feminine character.)

That’s the one. The climax scene showed Rarity humbly apologizing to AJ after experiencing the length’s AJ went to snap Rarity out of her jealousy.
 
Before that episode I saw their friendship as ‘friends who are close because they’re part of their closest group of friends’, after the episode they act as ‘close friends’. Again, that’s from my perspective.
 
And just to finish my thoughts on their friendship, Applejack’s “Day” Off gave me the impression that they had become best friends.

Simple ways? Isn’t that the one with that guy who falls in love with Aj and just completely ignores Rarity afterwards? (No wonder Aj didn’t like him.)

I think it may be overlooked as shipping fuel due to AJ and Rarity still becoming close friends at the beginning of S3.
 
I’m not sure about anybody else, but the first time I saw their interactions as fuel was at Trade Ya. I also saw that they got to close friends status in Simple Ways.

Rarijack has hardly been overlooked by the fandom.
 
A more overlooked thing would be Bulk Biceps being gay… I’m probably one of the few that actually think that.
