For what it’s worth, the glaive-looking weapon in this image looks like it has a blade at each end – the main one on top and a semicircular one at the bottom – and the shaft could reasonably be used to provide extra kinetic energy to each end’s blows by swinging or spinning the whole thing.

This system is very old. It exists at least since Fallout:Equestria and has a problem with aiming which will have to perform a turn of the whole body. So you will be forced to make it dakka and useless in times of flint guns, which I prefer to discuss here because of the theme of the picture. Other FoE system is mouth pistols, but they can be only pistols because of mass and recoil. Also there can be leg mount or just some trigger improvement: there was a crossbow without any complications in “The one where Pinkie Pie knows”.
 
But enough firearms, especially since it, as you can see, has already been worked out a lot. What about this… halberds? How can they be used if we leave aside this annoying telekinesis? (And why we need s handle if we levitate it?)

One idea I’ve seen is rifles activated through use of electric currents to trigger the firing mechanism.

I see what you mean! Actually, yeah. Let’s make horse guns. We could put them on their sholder or something, and have a button connected to a cord they could bite to activate.

I mean, why whatever is ponyfied, would be a pony, and any thing ponies are not supposed to use like guns it would hold with telekinesis? This is… boring. Of course, ponies are kinda center of the setting, and when we say “ponify” we often mean specifically ponies. But why not invent something? Why not make something far and exotic look no so similar to our well-known equestrians? Sensko, of course, have a lot of griffons and I like him for this. But still…
