True, but in the end game wise the tech still stands the same. And while Abaddon controls quite a few Chaos Marines. He doesnt control ALL of them. Plus there is tech the Chaos Marines never had. The 1st Legion is a rare one that had all the weapons while other Legions made do with tech from Mars.
For the Black Legion it hasn’t been ten thousand years. For many warbands it can be just years from the Horus Heresy to so long that warriors dont even remember the Heresy at all. When Abaddon killed Sigismund a 1000 years had passed for Sigismund. For Abaddon only a few had passed. For the Chaos Legions they are still using the weapons of the Great Crusade while even the snail pace of the Imperium has left quite a bit of a technological leap. Plus the Imperium has massive reserves to throw at the Black Crusades.

oh wow so abbadon the harmless is just an even bigger failure. Ten THOUSAND YEARS of black crusades and it was literaly one planet holding him back. Not even much technological development even.
You may need to read this. Abaddon killed Sigismund and both served in the Great Crusade. Go to the bottom at the ‘Fate’ section.

and abby was not around when sigismund was around though. the only space marine around now from when big e was a thing is a space wolf in a sarcophagus
Read one of the Horus Heresy books with Dorn. You could shove coal up his ass and get diamonds. Sigismund was just as bad. He ran into Abaddon and his only response was ‘Do I look like I’m listening?”
I just meant that that entire chapter was pretty screwed.
(though it is surpsing to find sons of dorn so……not so stuck up the ass)
me. I dont play table top. But I do have to say that as it goes. Salamanders and the Imperial guard are my personal favorites when it comes to the imperum of man.
Celestial Lions were a Imperial Fist descended chapter. I’ve always played Dark Angel’s. Since 2nd edition in fact.

Always was a Son of the Lion myself. But seriously there wasnt a nicer guy than Vulkan. Well except Horus in the beginning of the HH books.
