This season is just interrupting Lyra and Bon Bon’s dates.

For me, I do want to see them become an official couple…
 
But I feel that’s never going to happen.
 
This season alone has had a lot if adult jokes, and dark themes, but yet Lyra and Bon Bon never verbalize, in a implication that isn’t “best friends”, that they are a couple.
 
We’re just left assuming they are… Which sucks because I’d like them to at least give some conformation.
 
Two background characters were confirmed as gay in a behind-the-scenes on the Rainbow Rocks dvd, but Lyra and Bon Bon weren’t.
 
Seems even the studio likes messing with their relationship.
 
What I meant by “verbalize” is like have some pony ask them if they are “together” to which one or both of them reply “Yes, in fact we just started going out recently.”.
 
That would easily go over the more “annoying” parents’ heads while, at the same time, sneakily revealing Lyra and Bon Bon as a official couple.
