They did all notice something was wrong. But the whole thing happened, and was over, in a very short time frame. I would say that the episode happened almost in real time, and each of the Mean Six only spent a very short time around the split up Mane 6 before disappearing again.

It’s like identical twins switching places, and they’re wearing different earrings but look otherwise identical. You’re not likely to notice that in the span of a minute.
