You can do the timed events without paying real money. Especially if you do them all (some would require characters you would have won in earlier timed events).
 
And they have repeated some of their time events in the last few months (for every reward that you already have, you get 50 gems instead).

Like I’m worried about that. Until they stop these timed events for good, I’m not going back.

I don’t want to get your hopes up but depending on when you deleted it, there might be a cloud backup of your town. So if you download it again and sign in to your Gameloft ID, then the option will appear to restore the town.

You might feel sad from all the effort wasted, but at least you can be an artist afterwards.

Here’s the funniest part about this post: Everyone hates Gameloft. We all hate Gameloft’s addiction to money. Their favorite thing to do is rob their customers of their money. And what do WE get to show for it? NOTHING. I realized their callous ways, and I finally understand that Gameloft is nothing but a bunch of thieves trying to rob all of America with their cheap, pathetic farmville clone. Hence, I deleted the MLP gameloft game from my Ipad. Bravest thing I’ve ever done today.
