I disagree, actually. Cozy Glow was effective because nopony expected this level of manipulative evil of her. That opportunity is gone, now everypony who knows of her knows what to expect, and without a way to twist others around her hoof, she’s just a little pegasus filly.
 
I don’t expect to see her again during the last season at all.

I’m fairly sure that if Chrysalis didn’t let her pride speak for her back in the S6 finale, she wouldn’t have been sent to Tartarus or imprisoned elsewhere. Equestria values remorse, how much potential you have, and the willingness to stop.
 
Even with someone like Discord, he was forgiven, because he showed he could change by being willing to stop what he was doing for the sake of a friend, later showed remorse for the Tirek incident, and is gradually softening. It’s also intelligent, because one day, he was going to break free from his statue again, and he would’ve likely learned enough to be even more dangerous from two defeats.
