I wonder if it would have been legal to kick her out of the town because it is his hometown, not hers. As the last one of this place, it should legally belong to him

Look, I know we have to preserve everything carefully, but I don’t think EVERY object at this site has to be locked up at some institution for the public masses to look at!!
 
There’s probably PLENTY of hairy balls* lying around in this ancient village! If we can find something just like this one (as well as other copied artifacts), then maybe you can let him keep the rest of the souvenirs! Besides, it IS HIS hometown your diggin’ outta the ground!
 
*P.S. Ancient Celts used to playing hurling with balls made of animal hair
