She’s gonna have a hard time doing that knocked down and in pain. You know how Mortal Kombat works? The person still standing does the finishing. The only instance where this would make sense if you’re using Wimp Lo’s logic from Kung Pow.

And its then as the bug let her guard down that she heard the loud hum of priming magic.  
She turned to see the real Twilight mane aflame and furiuse at the pain the bug had brought upon her student.  
Chrysalis:In due time princess first your student th-  
Before she could even finish her monologue Twilight blasted her against the wall leaving the bug scorched and beaten.  
Twilight:After years of conflict Chrysalis I now see there is no redemption for you.  
And wasting no more words Twilight again blasted the bug this time with everything she had leaving the bug and a portion of her school in peices.
